Officially Bangkok's tallest building, MahaNakhon is an architectural landmark for the city, a physical representation of Bangkok rising on the world stage.
With its distinctive sculptural appearance, MahaNakhon has been carefully carved to introduce a three-dimensional ribbon of architectural "pixels" that circle the tower‚ full height, as if excavating portions of the elegant glass curtain wall to reveal the inner life of the building while generating a set of very special features, well-suited to the tropical climate of Bangkok.
An arresting profile on the skyline, MahaNakhon melds with the city as it moves vertically between ground and sky, the base dissolving into the city scape, engaging metaphorically and literally with the street life for which Bangkok is so famous.
Pixels create unobstructed panoramic views in the high floors, overlooking Lumpini Park, the city and the Chaophraya River.
Conceived at a time of global uncertainty, MahaNakhon reflects the ambition and excitement of one of the world’s most dynamic cities – the name means “Great Metropolis.”
Completed in 2016, with MahaNakhon Bangkok is rising and taking a bold step into the future.
